We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the Service.

Information Collected Automatically

The Service does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. All data processed by the extension remains on your local device.

  • Repository URLs and configurations you add
  • Bookmarks retrieved from your connected sources
  • Sync schedules and history
  • Error logs

None of this data is sent to BookmarkRepo servers.

Analytics

We do not use analytics tools, tracking pixels, or any third-party monitoring services within the extension.

3. Third-Party Services

When you connect a repository (e.g., a Confluence page or HTTP API), the extension communicates directly between your browser and that third-party service. We have no access to these requests or the data they contain.

You are solely responsible for the data shared with third-party services you configure within the extension.

4. Shareable Sync Links

If you choose to generate a shareable sync link, that link encodes your repository configuration. Anyone who receives this link can add the same repository to their extension. Do not share links pointing to private or sensitive sources with untrusted parties.

5. Data Retention

Because we do not collect any personal data, we have no data to retain or delete. All extension data is stored locally on your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the extension or using your browser's extension data management tools.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
