BookmarkRepo runs sync schedules in the background, checking for updates at your chosen frequency (every 10 minutes, hourly, daily, or weekly). When changes are detected in your connected repos, bookmarks are automatically updated in your browser. The extension works silently in the background, so you don't need to think about it.
Yes, your data is secure. BookmarkRepo stores bookmarks locally on your device. Your bookmarks stay on your private provider (like your own HTTP API or Confluence instance) and your device. We don't store your bookmarks in the cloud or on our servers. Your privacy is protected.
Currently, BookmarkRepo supports HTTP APIs (serving JSON or YAML), Confluence pages, and shareable one-click sync links. We're actively working on adding more source types. Stay tuned for updates!

Yes! While automatic sync is convenient, you can always trigger a manual sync whenever you want. This is useful when you've just updated a repo and want to see changes immediately without waiting for the next scheduled sync.
BookmarkRepo tracks all sync attempts and errors. If a sync fails, you'll see the error in the sync history, and the extension will automatically retry on the next scheduled sync. You can also manually retry failed syncs. Full error reporting helps you troubleshoot any connection issues.
